BOOKINGS POLICY

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All bookings of 8 and below do not require a deposit.

No under 18’s allowed in our private party spaces unless agreed upon beforehand.

All bookings of over 8 require a deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit can be redeemed against your final bill, or alternatively refunded on your arrival.

Escapism Bars operate a minimum spend policy for any area or private hire bookings.

The deposit and minimum spend is subject to availability, size, date and time of booking.

All bookings are regarded as provisional until full payment or the deposit is received.

Should the minimum spend be met, then your deposit will be redeemed in full or used towards your final bill.

Should you fail to meet the minimum spend then deposit monies will be retained to the value of the shortfall against the agreed minimum spend.

Please note that once paid, all payments are non-refundable.

HOW TO PAY YOUR DEPOSIT

By credit or debit card – over the phone or online through our Escapism Bars booking system. For bank transfer please request an invoice.

We do not accept payment after the date of your booking.

OTHER KEY INFORMATION

All reservations will be held for 30 minutes. If you do not arrive or contact us to let us know you are running late within this time, your table may not be available for your party.

Escapism Bars reserves the right to retain deposit monies should any damage be caused to fixtures or fittings by any member of your party.

Escapism Bars accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items brought into any of our venues – all items are left entirely at the owner’s risk.

Please inform us of any special requirements and we will endeavour to meet them for you.
Please note that all our menus are subject to seasonal change.

Escapism Bars has a zero-tolerance attitude towards swearing, threats or any acts of violence towards our team members.

Anyone abusing staff members or acting in a way that is deemed to be inappropriate will be asked to leave the premises.

Customers must be over 18 years old to gain entry. We operate a challenge 25 policy, so customers are advised to carry a valid form of photo ID (Passport or driving licence).

Our dress code is smart casual.

Cuckoo, Mean-Eyed Cat and Call Lane Social Loyalty Card – Terms & Conditions

By participating in the specified venue Loyalty Card promotion, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • This promotion is open to customers aged 18 or over.

  • Only one loyalty card per person.

2. Earning Stamps

  • Customers will receive one stamp for each qualifying drink purchase.

  • Only one stamp per transaction is permitted – multiple drinks in a single purchase will still count as one stamp.

  • A total of five separate drink purchases (with stamps) are required to qualify for a free 6th drink.

3. Redeeming Your Free Drink

  • The 6th drink is free upon presentation of a completed loyalty card with five verified stamps.

  • Free drink must be claimed in-store and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

  • The Free Drink is up to the value of £10.50

4. Validity Period

  • This promotion is valid until 31st August 2025.

  • Loyalty cards must be completed and redeemed on or before this date.

  • Any unredeemed cards will expire after this date and cannot be used later.

5. Lost or Damaged Cards

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged loyalty cards will not be replaced.

  • Cards must be presented at the time of purchase to earn a stamp.

6. Right to Modify or Withdraw

  • Escapism Bars reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion at any time without prior notice.

7. General

  • Loyalty cards have no monetary value and cannot be transferred.

  • This promotion is subject to availability and while supplies last.
