The Role:

We’re on the lookout for a Sales and Events Manager to join our dynamic Sales and Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, what’s your mission? To be the driving force behind our events and sales initiatives, ensuring every occasion exceeds our guests’ expectations!

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound Sales:

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, booking platforms, and third-party sites.
  • Upsell at every opportunity, ensuring every enquiry turns into a booking.

Event Management:

  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor.
  • Coordinate all venue bookings, parties, and events.
  • Work closely with the operational team to ensure smooth running of each confirmed booking.
  • Occasionally host parties during peak times (e.g., festive season).

Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients through regular communications and meetings.
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Utilise cold contacting, networking, and social media to generate outbound leads.
  • Expand Escapism’s customer base.

Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:

  • Create and execute sales strategies targeting new and existing clients.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to track progress toward revenue goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Personable, highly skilled, party starters
  • A great team player and relationship builder
  • At least 1 years’ experience within the hospitality industry and prior outbound sales experience.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets and deliver exceptional performance

BAR MANAGER - Manchester

Tiki Hideaway landed in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter in September 2023 and we’re on the lookout for a Bar Manager to take the venue to the next level!

Below ground at the same location as our sister bar the Mean-Eyed Cat on Oldham Street, guests are transported into a Polynesian inspired rum shack paradise with cocktails on fire and an electric atmosphere like no other.

The Role

The Bar Manager will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing all operations of the business from P&Ls and Stocks to throwing a wild party for your guests. The venue offers table bookings as well as a private hire area so experience with bookings is preferred.

Salary: £29,250 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of Tiki Hideaway

Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction by maintaining a strong attention to detail

Assist in managing the team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Collaborate with other departments including Sales & Marketing to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner

Assist with budgeting and financial reporting

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Manager or Supervisor, preferably within a ‘Tiki’ Bar environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Familiarity with venue operations and industry standards

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and requirements, the Bar Manager may be required to perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the venue.

GENERAL MANAGER - Liverpool

Tiki Hideaway & Mean-Eyed Cat Bar landed on Seel Street in Liverpool in February 2023,  and we’re on the lookout for a General Manager to take the venue to the next level! Born in Leeds but a brand-new venue to Liverpool, Tiki Hideaway is a Polynesian themed Hidden Bar, with amazing cocktails & a vibe that won’t be beaten! The role would also lead Mean-Eyed Cat, a Deep South Dive Bar taking inspiration from Johnny Cash and the greats.

We’re looking to hire to hire an exceptional individual to work alongside our current teams in Leeds, Manchester, and of course Liverpool, whilst learning the ropes of Escapism Bars with our Management Training Academy.

Experience preferred;

  • 2 Years of GM in a high volume bar setting
  • Personal licence and Food safety Level 2
